Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi (R), shakes hands with the Doha-based political bureau chief of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas Ismail Haniyeh (L) at his office in Tehran. Haniyeh's visit to Tehran comes a day after a resolution adopted by the UN Security Council called for an ''immediate ceasefire'' for the ongoing Muslim holy month of Ramadan, leading to a ''lasting'' truce.

وقال رئيسي: سنرد بشكل مكثف وواسع النطاق ومؤلم على أدنى عمل يستهدف المصالح الإيرانية وكل مرتكبيه، وفقاً لوكالة إيطاليا برس للأنباء.
وأضاف الرئيس الإيراني أن الدعم الأعمى الذي تقدمه بعض الدول الغربية للكيان الصهيوني يشكل أساس التوتر في المنطقة.
